8:10. וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אֱלִישָׁע לֵךְ אֱמָר־לֹא חָיֹה תִחְיֶה וְהִרְאַנִי יְהוָה כִּי־מוֹת יָמוּת ׃

8:10. י ויאמר אליו אלישע לך אמר לא (לו) חיה תחיה והראני יהוה כי מות ימות

8:10. וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אֱלִישָׁע לֵךְ אֱמָר־ [לֹא כ] (לֹו ק) חָיֹה תִחְיֶה וְהִרְאַנִי יְהוָה כִּי־מֹות יָמוּת׃

8:10. ‏וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ אֱלִישָׁ֔ע לֵ֥ךְ אֱמָר־לא ל֖וֹ חָיֹ֣ה תִחְיֶ֑ה וְהִרְאַ֥נִי יְהוָ֖ה כִּֽי־מ֥וֹת יָמֽוּת׃

8:10. Elisha said to him, "Go and tell him, 'You will surely recover,' but the LORD has revealed to me that he will surely die."

8:10. And Elisha replied, "Go and tell him, 'You will surely recover.' But actually the LORD has shown me that he will surely die!"

8:10. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou shalt surely recover; howbeit Jehovah hath showed me that he shall surely die.

8:10. And Elisha said to him, "Go, say to him, 'You shall certainly recover,' but the LORD has shown me that he shall certainly die."

8:10. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

8:10. And Elisha said to him, "Go, say to him, `You shall certainly recover'; but the LORD has shown me that he shall certainly die."

8:10. And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou shalt surely recover; howbeit the LORD hath shewed me that he shall surely die.

8:10. And Elisha saith unto him, `Go, say, Thou dost certainly not revive, seeing Jehovah hath shewed me that he doth surely die.`

8:10. Then Elisha said to Hazael, "Go and tell Ben-Hadad, 'You will live.' But really the Lord told me, 'He will die.'"

8:10. Elisha said to him, Go, tell him, You shall surely recover; however Yahweh has shown me that he shall surely die.
